Here are the cinematic shots I worked on for Diablo IV. Most of these shots are a mix of hand-keyed animation and motion capture. For the first real-time cutscene, Mephisto (wolf) is hand-keyed while Neyrelle is motion captured. The second cutscene with the horse and carriage is entirely hand-keyed. The following shot, which is an in-game cinematic, contains hand-keyed animation on Mephisto and motion capture for the player character. For the final in-game cinematic, Neyrelle, Lorath, and the player character are motion captured while the talking heads are hand-keyed.
